I love to look up this kind of “stuff’ and learn how to make use of simple inexpensive “God’s creations” I too, love the beautiful fall leaves and I read somewhere where you can use hair spray and spray the front and back of the leaves and they will stay a long time, and when they are dry, you can use a holer and string them in your windows. I tried this and I have a bushel basket full of those fall leaves by my fireplace. I am going to string some to take to my volunteer job at a local World Impact thrift store and just string in the window display. They will be beautiful up until Thanksgiving.

I love fall leaves!! Thanks for sharing some great ideas.

For now I don’t envy your hot weather. I’d rather freeze than sweat! Come February / March time Florida might sound nice I’ll let you know! It depends on how much snow we have. If we have lots of snow I’m happy to be cold but if it’s dreary and muddy then I’m ready to be warm.

I love that gate in the first picture also! There’s something so inviting about a gate………
