My Vespa!
Two years ago, Tim bought me one of the best ever gifts for Valentine’s Day…A Vespa scooter! To say I love it would be an understatement! We live in a small town and this is the perfect way to get around! It gets me wherever I want to go and into the closest parking spots imaginable! Not to mention that I look really cute driving it! That’s a plus for sure!
Easy to Park!
The first photo is my scooter hanging out with the rest of the bikes! I know, it doesn’t sound like they do, but I still get to park in front…thank you very much!!!
Last weekend there was a wonderful craft show in town and the streets were crowded with no parking in sight. Well, that doesn’t include scooters! We pulled right up behind one of the tents in a safe little spot just right for us! We did a little shopping, a little eating, found some cute little palm tree earrings, and off we went!
Great on Gas!
We noticed the tank was almost empty so we stopped to fill it up! This is where the budget minded person in me is thrilled beyond belief! Guess how much it took to fill it up? Go on, guess!
Oh, you can’t see it…here you go…
That’s right! How’s that for being green and using less fossil fuels???
I can go about 100 miles with this tank of gas!
Then we took our savings on over to get a little something to eat!
There’s a great little pub where we can park on the sidewalk next to the swinging tables! I love that!
This is The Celtic Ray. They have wonderful Bangers & Mash, Fish & Chips, Bread Pudding, and other tasty dishes!

I love Vespa’s….especially that lovely green color that they have, and you just have to have a matching helmut….My husband always says he will buy me one if we ever move to the shore, me, I’m sure I would kill myself….

This is what my husband needs to get to work! He drives a Ford F250 about 10 minutes to work every day. I’m just not sure if he would ride it wearing a jacket and tie.

You do make it sound tempting…..and they are really cute! But since warm weather only lasts for about 3 days here in crappy New England I wouldn’t get much use out of it….do I sound like I have bitter winter blues???

I’m guessing you live where it doesn’t get cold. It is suppose to be 40 below zero in the northern part of Indiana. I live in southern Indiana so it won’t be that cold…maybe in the teens below zero.
I LOVE the swinging tables. How neat to do some swingin’ before and after dinner…swingin’ while waitin’ for food.
I see Vespa’s all over this area of Florida. I’m sure it is a great green way to get around town.

I love Vespas! I wanted one and one of my coworkers was going to sell me his wife’s but I’m too afraid to drive it around here! I live in Silicon Valley and there is so much traffic and a lot of bad drivers! If I lived in a smaller town I would buy a pink one!!!

I love the scooter. That is my dream gift. I live in Tampa so I probably wouldn’t be able to ride around town but would love it to take to little town around us. Can you and your husband ride on it?
